If you are reading this, chances are you are as much of a pop culture fanatic as I am. So that means you’ve probably heard of the latest and greatest celebrity documentary, ‘$ellebrity’. The full length trailer is here and it is a doozy. I don’t know about you, but I have full intentions on seeing this in theaters when it is released! Plus, how awkward is it that J.Lo and Marc Anthony were clearly still together when this was filmed?
Discussing your opinion on paparazzi is the equivalent of discussing politics or religion – no one has the same opinion and no one will respect your opinion for being different than theirs. It’s unfortunate because when it comes down to it, it really is something that comes with the territory. At the same time though it has become an extreme version of itself and there are no longer any boundaries. Like the photographer in the trailer who called himself a photo journalist and referred to his images as art. Is Suri Cruise throwing a tantrum over ice cream really art? Though, mentioning Suri Cruise brings up a whole new slew of topics… like, is photographing celebrity children okay? It’s like a never-ending spiral of discussion.
Will you see ‘$ellebrity’ when it hits theaters?
