“The Avengers” closed the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday night and while the cast turn out wasn’t that great, the fans were ready and roaring to go early Saturday morning. The earliest I know of someone arriving was 8am at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and when I got there at 2pm there were lots of fans in costume waiting behind the barricades. There was even someone in a Batman costume which, as you comic nerds know, is pretty silly since Batman is a part of DC Comics and not Marvel like “The Avengers“.
From the minute Brian and I arrived at BMCC the crowd just continued to grow and grow, and by the time cast members started arriving we had lost our spot in the front due to some very eager late-comers who clearly have no respect for those of us who arrived before them. Most of those people are in the pictures I’ve included below, by the way.
Check out my pictures of Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, and Shaun White (random) arriving and interacting with fans at “The Avengers” NYC premiere below!
